3. Account & API Keys

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

5. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Decision inputs you submit via the API are processed to generate auditable outputs. We do not sell your data to third parties.

6. Audit Trail Data

Audit trail records generated by the Service are designed to be immutable and tamper-evident. You acknowledge that:

  • Audit records include SHA-256 hash chains for integrity verification
  • Tamper detection is a technical mechanism, not a legal guarantee
  • You are responsible for exporting and retaining audit data per your regulatory requirements

7. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided "as-is." Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated in advance when possible. Uptime SLAs are available under Professional and Enterprise plans as described on our Pricing page.

8. Intellectual Property

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AuditCore shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AuditCore and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Termination

Either party may terminate the relationship at any time. Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease. Provisions regarding intellectual property, limitation of liability, and indemnification survive termination.
